CPM (cost per mille) prices ad reach per thousand impressions. Fill any two of cost, impressions, and CPM — the calculator solves the third, whichever direction your planning runs.

Formula & methodology

CPM = cost ÷ impressions × 1000, rearranged as needed: cost = CPM × impressions ÷ 1000, impressions = cost ÷ CPM × 1000.

Worked examples

  • 500 spend, 250,000 impressions → CPM 2.00
  • CPM 4.00 × 1,000,000 impressions → cost 4,000
  • 300 budget at CPM 6.00 → 50,000 impressions

Limits

Impressions are not views or attention; viewability and frequency change what a thousand impressions is worth. Arithmetic only, no benchmark claims.

Frequently asked questions
